Volt Hog 1000W Electric Off Road Go Cart
The Volt Hog is a 1000W electric off road go cart built for real terrain — a rugged, four-wheeled machine for private property and designated off-road areas. If you've been comparing an off road buggy for the kids, this is the same idea done properly: a low, stable ride powered by a brushless 1000W motor and a 48V 20Ah battery, with drive sent to the rear wheels through a gearbox shaft-drive system — no exposed chain.
As an off road go cart the Volt Hog is made to be driven hard. Four-wheel independent suspension, wide off-road tyres and 220 mm of ground clearance let it take on dirt, grass and gravel with genuine off road buggy confidence, while a hydraulic rear handbrake gives controlled braking and selectable speed settings match the performance to each rider.

Off Road Go Cart Features
Everything that makes the Volt Hog a genuine off road go cart rather than a backyard toy — real power, real suspension and off-road-ready hardware.

What Riders Are Saying
Bought this for my son's 12th and it's been out on the back paddock every weekend since. The shaft drive is a huge plus — no chain to keep tensioning. Plenty of grunt on the hills too.
The speed limiter sold me on it. Started the kids on the low setting to build confidence, and we've stepped it up as they've improved. Suspension soaks up the rough stuff really well.
Solid bit of kit and quick out of the corners with the rear-wheel drive. Battery does what it says — good session before a recharge. Would've liked a spare included but no complaints on the kart itself.
Arrived well packed and mostly assembled. Took maybe 20 minutes to finish setting up. My daughter loves it and it's stable enough that I'm not worried watching her tear around the property.
Genuinely surprised at how well it handles gravel and grass. The handbrake is great fun once you know what you're doing. Feels a lot more planted than the cheaper karts I looked at first.
Great value for the power you get. Kids have put it through its paces on the farm and it's held up well. Just make sure you charge it fully before the first ride — ours took a while out of the box.
